Sherlock Holmes the Card Game (8+ yrs, 3+ players)

Travel with Sherlock and Dr Watson by Hansom Cab and train, as you seek clues and suspects. Police Inspectors, Alibis and even thick fog will cause confusion, but finally an Arrest will be made and Holmes and Watson will have cracked another intriguing case.

Players draw and lay cards in sequence, Movement, Location, Info, Action, Detectives and Villains. Eg. take a train to the Country, find a clue and use a Disguise. Use an Inspector, Arrest or Alibi card on opponents and so on.

The game ends either when an Arrest successfully reveals a Villain, or when a player discards their last card, a Villain, who Escapes.

Scoring is based on cards remaining in your hand, and if you are the arresting or guilty player, caught with a Villain in your hand.

All of the cards are illustrated with pictures from the original material and faithfully capture the atmosphere of the period.
